Where is the Carnation Festival located?

The festival is all weekend long at Anderson Park (4355 Field St.) and the parade is on 38th Avenue from Ames St. to Upham St. on Saturday morning beginning at 9:30am.

Where can I park?

There is limited paid, on-site parking. However, we do offer free shuttle service from multiple locations. The shuttle schedule and information can be found here: https://thecarnationfestival.com/free-shuttles

If you are using a service like Uber or Lyft to get to and from the festival, please pick up/drop off on Field Street just north of 44th (east of Pietras).

Is the Carnation Festival free admission?

Yes, the festival is free admission. You can enjoy the live music, see the fireworks, browse the vendor fair and check out events like the art show or car show all for free!

Can I bring my pet to the Carnation Festival?

No pets are allowed on the festival grounds. It is too hot, crowded and loud (fireworks and live music) for our furry friends. Certified service animals are exempt from this policy.

Will there be funnel cakes and turkey legs?

Of course! There will be funnel cakes and turkey legs along with plenty of other food and drink options from local vendors.

When/where is the parade?

The parade is Saturday morning at 9:30am along 38th Avenue from Ames St. to Upham St. Get there early to stop by the Grange for the annual pancake breakfast.

What is the music lineup?

What should I do or who should I contact in case of emergency?

On festival grounds, in case of urgent medical or life threatening emergency, please dial 911.

If you have a lost item or need basic first aid, please visit the Information Booth near the main entrance by 44th and Field.

The Carnation Festival, Inc is a volunteer led, 501c3 non-profit with the sole purpose of producing the annual Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival for the benefit of the community and numerous non-profit groups in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
